Machine Gun
Before you start a game hit select. There you should see: Music Sound Diffeculty Fire Level Go to fire and set it to auto one(AUTO 01). Then whenever you start hit B and it will be a machine gun and A is to charge up.

Level Skip
Pause the game, then press B to advance through any level that was previously played.

Invincibility
Successfully complete R-Type DX using ten or less credits. Then, press Select + A during a R-Type Standard type game.

Quick Reset
While playing a game, hold B and power the Game Boy off and on while continuing to hold the button. The game will resume at the start of the last level played with five lives but no points or power-ups.

Drawing Mode
Successfully complete R-Type I Enhanced, R-Type II Enhanced, and R-Type DX. Then at the game type selection screen, press Right until the De Souza drawing editor option appears. Press Start to begin.
